    Memorial Day Weekend in DTLA

    May 25, 2017

Memorial Day is upon us and it’s time to figure out where you’ll be heading over this upcoming three-day weekend. There are festivals, events and commemorations going on all over Los Angeles, including some more intimate options at your very own ATELIER home.

    Fiesta Hermosa / May 27 – 30, 2017 from 10am – 6pm

1007 Hermosa Ave. | Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

If you’re looking to head to the water, Fiesta Hermosa is the place for you this weekend. The three-day festival offers arts/crafts, tribute bands, carnival rides and food right in Hermosa Beach. If you get a little warm, just head right down to the sandy shore and take a break in the ocean blue.

    MAINopoly / May 28, 2017

2820 Main St. | Santa Monica, CA 90405

Right near the Pacific is MAINopoly. Main Street, located between Pier Avenue and Bay Street, becomes a Monopoly board game, and restaurants located along the path will offer customers samples. While you enjoy delectable eats, cocktails, craft beers and entertainment, the event is fundraising for Heal the Bay and Summer SOULstice. A great time for a good cause? We’re in.

     vPerch / May 29, 2017

448 Hill St. | Los Angeles, CA 90013

Get in some of your 10,000 steps and head to Perch for their Memorial Day a la carte brunch. Indulge in champagne and oyster specials from 10 am to 4pm and from 12 pm to 3pm, enjoy featured live jazz & soul music from Strangers on a Saturday Night. Stay at Perch all day by taking part in their dinner from 5pm to 10 pm and peruse their bar menu from 6pm to midnight, all while listening to the soulful jazz rendition sounds of the Milly Miller Trio from 7pm to 10pm.

    LACMA / May 29, 2017

5905 Wilshire Blvd. | Los Angeles, CA 90036

For some culture and quiet, LACMA is offering free admission all day for Memorial Day. No better time for some Monday musings.

    At ATELIER:

Getting out is fun, but sometimes spending a three-day weekend at home is the way to go. If you want to relax at your ATELIER space, you have plenty of options. You can hold your own Memorial Day event on the BBQ & game terrace, play bocce ball and sit around the fire pits. If you want to just relax, head up to our resort-style pool and lounge under a cabana.

     Happy Memorial Day, DTLA.
